Message	get someone who knows what they are listening to to take a listen, but thats exactly what happened when my rod bearings went out. Rod bearings cant really go 'go bad all at once' they are soft metal and cant go anywhere, so they pretty much have to stay where they are and just get worse and worse until they cause something else to fail.
